Welcome to the Hans Purrmann Archives

The Hans Purrmann Archives in Munich contain numerous autographs of the painter, large parts of the correspondence with the artist, numerous photographs from all periods of his life as well as press articles and a specialist library on Hans Purrmann and his contemporaries. Original works of art are not part of the archives’ holdings.

The archives are the point of contact for museums, art dealers, private collectors, academics and students in all matters relating to Hans Purrmann, his circle, life and work.
